Top 5 Best Unbreakable Records In Pro Kabaddi History

Did you know unbreakable records in Pro Kabaddi history? PKL is one of the cash-rich leagues in India. It has the second-highest fan base when it comes to franchise leagues after the all-mighty Indian Premier League. The Pro Kabaddi Leagues started its journey back in 2014 and witnessed lots of miracles in this game. The PKL has completed seven seasons and is now ready to put their leg in the 8th season. However, we have seen many records in this PKL; few of them are out of the box. So in this article, let’s find the top 5 unbreakable records in pro kabaddi league history.

5 Unbreakable Records In Pro Kabaddi

5. Most Raid Points in Debut Match by Suraj Desai

Siddharth Desai’s brother Suraj Desai made his PKL debut for the Telugu Titans in the 7th season. He played his debut match against Dabang Delhi and created an unbelievable record. In that match, Suraj Desai scored two points in his first raid. Being a brother of the Siddarth Bahubali Desai Suraj showed his temperament in his first raid itself.

However, Suraj scored raid points for fun in that particular match. Even the solid Dabang Delhi defense unit has no answers for his top-class raiding. Eventually, Suraj scored 18 points that day and became the first player to score the most raid points in the PKL debut match. Earlier, Siddharth Desai scored 15 points when he made his debut for U Mumba in Season 6. However, in season 7, Suraj Desai broke that record. It was such a record to be made into the list of unbreakable records in pro kabaddi history.

4. Most Tackle Points in a Single Season by Nitesh Kumar

Gaining tackle points in kabaddi is not easy as gaining raid points. But in the 6th edition of PKL, the UP Yoddha star defender surprised everyone. Nitesh Kumar, who played 25 matches in that season, scored a mammoth of 100 tackle points. In other words, Nitesh Kumar scored an average of four tackle points per match in season 6. Till now, no defender has scored 100 tackle points in a single PKL season other than Nitesh Kumar. It was one of the top-notch records to be made into the list of unbreakable records in pro kabaddi history.

3. Most Raid Points in a Match by Pawan Kumar Sehrawat

The star raider from the Bangalore Bulls, who sustained his ultimate raiding form from season six, did not turn his back in the last two seasons. Pawan Sehrawat showed his raiding power in a league match against Haryana Steelers in the 7th edition of PKL. He just dismantled the Haryana Steelers defense unit and scored a mammoth of 39 points in that particular match. Mainly the Hi Flyer Pawan Sehrawat has played with the defenders on the mat by scoring super raid after super raid.

Previously this record was held by The Dubki King Pardeep Narwal, who scored 34 raid points against the same opponent in the 5th edition of the pro kabaddi league. However, gaining 39 raid points in a 40-minute game is not an ordinary thing. As far as I recognize, no one can break this record right now because it was one of the sensational records in PKL history. That is the reason why it made into the list of unbreakable records in pro kabaddi history.

2. Most Points in a Single Raid by Pardeep Narwal

Dubki King Pardeep Narwal doesn’t need an extensive introduction. In the raiding department, most of the records are on this iconic name. That is the reason why Pardeep Narwal is also known as The Record Breaker.

However, in a league match against Haryana Steelers in the 5th edition of the pro kabaddi league, Dubki King has scored 8 points in a single raid. Eight points in a single raid for most people sounded like impossible. But Pardeep has swept all Haryana defenders on the mat and created an incredible record. I recognize it was highly impossible to break this record. Due to this reason, it has made into 2nd place in the list of unbreakable records in pro kabaddi history.

1. Most Consecutive Super 10s by Naveen Kumar

I reckon this was the most extensive record in PKL history, and this record won’t break forever. It is challenging to achieve Super 10 in ten matches in a row. After a few matches, the defenders who understand the raider moves will be kept him as silent as possible from the next matches. But Dabang Delhi’s young sensation Naveen Kumar scored a super 10 in 22 consecutive matches.

We thought it was a miracle when record-breaker Pardeep Narwal achieved 8 Super 10s in a row. However, Naveen Kumar broke this record and scored 22 Super 10s in a row in the 7th edition of the pro kabaddi league. He smashed every defender on his way and became the best raider in the debut season. With the heroics of Naveen Kumar Goyat, Dabang Delhi went to the finals for the first time in PKL history. In fact, Naveen took his team into the finals single-handedly with his 22 consecutive super 10s. I think it is impossible to break this kind of record. That is the reason why it made into the list of unbreakable records in pro kabaddi history.
